I can't snap my retro rigs, but i do have this to share X)
Really wish Vogons had a repository for "period-correct" wallpapers — not just vendor-specific but also official game wallpapers and images found on crappy shareware disks.
I was looking for my original Windows XP and Server 2003 wallpaper, but can't locate them (the Server 2003 one looks like a gray version of the green Home and blue Professional wallpaper).
I know I had a stash somewhere, but this one will have to do 😁
Here is one of my desktops.

Nice. Love that humor.
Oh mean, that reminds me; I should really put BeOS on my dual P2; if I could find the GeForce driver. (That, and a working BeBits mirror...)

Look at these old threads to see if they have what you're looking for (if you haven't already):
Ooohh, the pain......
Here's the Win95 desktop on my P166MMX - Matrox Millennium, Voodoo2, and muchos MIDI options thanks to an SCC-1, Goldfinch, and Crystal Wavetable.
I've had some great times with this machine, it's my favorite retro:
Life? Don't talk to me about life.
A Packard Bell I just put together.

That's a really nice set up there mate. Win3.1 feels so primitive these days, even when compared to Windows 95, but it was a big deal in its day and I have fond(ish) memories of it. I have it installed on my 486SX33 and like to dip in from time-to-time:
Life? Don't talk to me about life.
Aztech card?

The desktop of my tualatin box - I do lots of my retro-gaming on this machine:
I'm actually posting this using the PIII now. I'll make a screenshot of my 586's desktop, but there's not much to see since the only windows games on it are red alert 95, warcraft 2 BNE and GL_quake.
