Hi guys, tomorrow IK'm going to buy a CRT monitor.
I already have a 14'" one but I would like get a bigger one.

I'm going to connect it to my Pentium computer to play MS-DOs games (no windows)

So, I have to options. What I'm worried is that there could be resolution issues with the
first monitor and 320x240 games? Is it too big to play Ms-DOS games, will I see huge pixels!!?? Not that I mind 😀

Try them both and see which one you like the most.

Just another user that likes old OSes and videogames, nothing interesting to see here...

Yeah, I was worried about any incompatibility issues. I'll tell the guy to show them
on if possible and decide which one looks better. 😉

I'd personally recommend either a Sony monitor or any monitor with a Sony tube in it if going CRT, Trinitrons were about the best CRT you could get.

PC hardware: Ryzen 7 1700, 32GB RAM, 500GB 970 EVO Plus system drive, 500GB 850 EVO /home drive, 1TB Travelstar 7K1000 extra storage drive, R9 270 GPU, Xonar DG soundcard, Arch Linux GNOME.

Take into consideration that many of the trinitrons are pretty worn out at this point in time, whereas shadow mask seem to last a few years more?

It's a matter of trying and choosing the one in better condition 😀
