I recently reinstalled Windows 3.1 through DOSBox but after installing the SB16 drivers, I try to play MIDI and it uses the device mentioned above,when I want it to use a soundfont. I setup the mpu401 for it to target the virtual BassMIDI device but still no luck. Then I noticed that when I play a MIDI file with MSGSWS it uses the BASSMIDI thing. So I tried uninstalling BASSMIDI and BAM! My computer is no longer able to play MIDI files. When I reinstall BASSMIDI however, it suddenly can play MIDI files again! What is wrong? Please help me!
EDIT:I only installed Munt now and the MSGSWS device sounds like it!
