Bit ironic that a company that plays a large part in electronic storage and backup should not have backups of physical data.
Although understand its probably not high on their priority list.
It appears that Keysight Technologies acquired part of the archives that were put in this building that were destroyed. And these archives were not provided enough protection, and were placed in a modular building rather than a permanent ones, which survived the blaze. And apparently, HP did safeguard these archives, prior to the acquisition by Keysight Technologies.
Ouch!! That's computing history gone forever! 🙁 Oddly enough, I'm typing this on my HP laptop.
