Actually, learning Chinese is not a bad idea. (The Chinese poem you referenced is not really more weird than James while John had had had had had had had had had had had a better effect on the teacher)

As for most games ending up in one of the two major lingua franca languages, I guess this is more or less inevitable. World languages are known throughout almost entire history of humanity, and it's a sure way to guarantee that your product will be accessible to all audiences.
