TV Antenna
Soldering helping hands with a magnifying glass
60W Soldering Iron
Desoldering Wick (like the white-out device that you push down and pull left or right to remove mistakes)

Going to re-solder my Aztech sound card again and make an AV cable or two for my Commodore 64.

Just seen this thread.

I wish you a happy birthday, too! 😀

60W Soldering Iron

60W is fine. I started myself with a 220v, 60w soldering iron.
If you're going to make some soldering jobs more often, there's also an upgrade path to a regulated soldering station.

I'm using a very old Weller Magnastat TCP24 from the 1970s, which is very robust (the tip of the iron is almost unbreakable).
The reason I tell you is because these can be found for cheap from to time to time (the amateur radio folks in my place used to use them).

Also, if you're having trouble with soldering, esp. with lead-free solder, you can try to use a solder flux based on rosin aka colophony.
I think it is also available in liquid form in tubes (dissolved in alcohol; hope that's the proper English description).
It is pretty much out of common use, but less poisonous than the modern flux (it doesn't smell like dead fish).
It also doesn't cause shorts, so you don't need to remove it from PCBs.

Going to re-solder my Aztech sound card again and make an AV cable or two for my Commodore 64.

Sounds good! I wish you the good luck for that. Please keep us up-to-date.

I also have flux as well (which does help loosen stubborn solder by heating it up more) in case the soldering iron won't heat up the old solder faster (my 15W iron isn't enough, and the tip is too thick) and to put the solder on the contact points that need it.

I also have tip cleaner as well, which does make the soldering iron tip shiny and last longer, plus, I use contact cleaner to get rid of excess flux.
