UPDATE: Compy is working again... not even happy about the solution because it's embarrassingly simple yet also so incredibly easy to overlook: https://www.patreon.com/posts/17218472

Original Post:

Here's a link to the full story but the gist of it is that the motherboard for my main system died, but it's still under warranty, so until that's replaced I'm not going to be able to work on my videos. I also don't have access to my eMail, so anyone who wants to get in touch with me during this time should go @Pixelmusement on Twitter.

Hope the motherboard isn't going back to "ASUS" for warranty repair/replacement.

North America ASUS is not even ASUS. It is just a crappy company that sells ASUS products.

ASUS' warranty is basically no warranty because they will
1. Claim physical damage
2. Send you a DOA board
3. Send you back your board saying that nothing is wrong
4. Send you back your board saying it was repaired, but really they just sent it back without doing anything
5. Send you a board that is broken in a different way

After 3-4 replacements, you may get a fully working board.

You could still continue the series on designing/coding your own game which has been on hold for a while now. I believe it's rather undemanding to film coding sequences and add some explanation to them.

Fixed my compy...

...I... have no words for how incredibly DUMB I feel about this...

In my defence, the solution was the equivalent of having a malfunctioning COM port or parallel port that you totally forgot was actually attached to your motherboard because who even uses those ports anymore on a modern computer? :P

So... yeah... full details here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/17218472

I'm gonna go back to facepalming now...
