I want to join retroroms but i keep getting recaptcha errors, i guess they are stuck with an old no longer working version. I can't contact them since that also requires the recaptcha. So someone please let them know.

Yeah, i think they haven't upgraded to a new version and the old one no longer works. We'll have to wait hoping that someone helps then.

That makes them the legal point of contact for the website.
If they do what they are paid to (and don't think you are spam) they will forward your message to the owner.
