Hi everyone,

Not sure if there are any hams here, but I've just heard the news..:

http://www.spaceflightinsider.com/organizatio … te-toward-moon/

https://amsat-uk.org/2018/04/03/dslwp-lunar-a … dio-satellites/

According to the news, the launch date was about last week or so.
Too bad I've got a short wave radio only (and no VHF/UHF converters for it)..

Best regards,
Jo22

That's really cool. Along with the payload going up on the Qatari satellite later this year, it should be a great year for AMSAT.

Thanks for the info about the Qatari satellites! 😀
I wish AMSAT the best, too.

Speaking of AMSAT, AO-7 from 1974 is still funtional, isn't it ?
A few years ago I heard that the batteries became open again and that it works if in sun light.
Anyway, I love the build quality of the old birds (see some pics of AO-7)! 😁
