Legal side of things must be nightmare at times (at which point I'm sure they simply give up)
For me they will always win over steam or whatever. Big fan of their offline/no DRM installs

i'm imagining footage of an intern at a computer browsing <insert "abandonware" site here>, downloading a rar (because all games originally come in rars 🙄), slipping some gog dlls and nglide/dxwnd/dgvoodoo2 in, dragging it into InnoSetup and calling it a day. and for the bonus avatars, just google image searching for "<gamename> pictures" and using whatever that comes up.
