Hm, good question. There's a brand's emblem on the lower center on the monitor.
Unfornatunately, I can't make it out. Also, the monitor has a protective glass attached to it.
Maybe that's the one to "blame" for the special looking greens, not sure.

The brand is BMC. My first monitor for Apple II was a green mono BMC, but without the smoked front. A lot of those old green screen CRTs had the perspex bubble.
