I recently plugged in a Cyborg 2000 joystick to play Star Wars Rogue Squadron on my Windows 98SE PC. Before I did this the game ran fine with a mouse. Well since plugging in the joystick the courser ‘hand’ in menus keep jumping around. I can kind of control it with the joystick and mouse, but it still jumps randomly, making it almost impossible to make a selection. Also, in the ship selection section, I can’t keep the screen on a single ship….it keep jumping around from ship to ship. But once I do get a ship selected and start the game, both the joystick and mouse are stable, and the game plays well. I have tried running it with only the joystick connected (unplugging the mouse) and the same thing happens. I've also tried different comparable drivers. The only time it’s stable is when only the mouse is plugged in.

Any advice?
