You would likely need to remove the flash chip located to the right of the Nvram block. Has a "0132" on the sticker.

The cards went to the big computer part in the sky sadly. And this was years ago (2013-2014).

Will be peeking inside these tonight from the haul. There is a tad bit of surface rust on the bottom of the cases, but nothing breaching the metal. Luckily there are quite a few boxed caster wheels for these cases in the lot so I will be using those.

All those scsi drives make my lady parts tremble.

Ah, SCSI hard drives. The sound of 10K-15K RPM drive waking your whole household and neighbors. I have 3 Seagate 73.4GB 15K Ultra SCSI 320 and 2 Compaq/Fujitsu 18.4GB(?) 10K Ultra SCSI 160 drives that I pulled from the PowerEdge 6300 server (still have them and they've been in storage for years now). I remember doing a RAID5 on all 5 drives in case one of the drives stopped working, at least it'll retain the data on the other 4 drives.

Side note, those drives in the 3rd chassis are perfect for old compact macs.

Interesting CD-ROMs up there. I squinted at the one on the right for a while trying to figure out it it was a Panasonic CR-563, but it looks like it's just a close design. I'm guessing it's a SCSI drive anyway; I assume there's no sound card in the system to hang a 563 off.

Those cases look WAY smaller with the doors open so you can see the size of the drive bays. 😜 Closed up they look like full-on server racks. How tall are they?

They are 27in tall and 18in deep.

So from left to right.

1.) Pentium 100
2.) Pentium Pro 200
3.) Pentium 100
4.) Pentium Pro 200
5.) Dual Pentium Pro 200

Most have SCSI CD-ROM drives and basic Trident ISA video cards.

Lots of SCSI drives of course.

I think these were used as basic file servers from the company they came from.

Sadly I get nothing but screen garbage (random colored ASCII characters) all over the screen at post. I then gave it a good scrub with alcohol and a soft bristle toothbrush. It then posted normally, but after a few more reboots it went back to screen garbage again.

No sir, tried all three slots and all the Cirrus Logic and Trident VLB video cards work like a charm on the same mobo.

Welp, tried everything. Off to Luckybob's Labs for analysis.

Could be dried out capacitors, or a cold joint somewhere, but, that's just my $0.02

I agree with you, but this card has such tiny capacitors that even with my nice solder station I don't trust myself in the world of tiny soldering. I can do the larger caps all day long, but my hands aren't steady enough for the tiny ones.

Luckybob you are a very lucky man to grab all of those wonders. I love P Pro too.
