New computer history video: 1975 SWTPC 6800. From the blurb:

"Computer history video! We talk about the vintage computer SWTPC 6800 which was one of the first successful computers build around the Motorola 6800 CPU. It used an interesting bus, SS-50, and used to be sold as a kit."

I have made a lot of videos in the year 2018 for our 3dfx fans: https://www.youtube.com/3dfx_Aslinger

Gameplays and comparisons, also enough videos that other youtuber have not done yet. Real 3dfx Hardware and later videos with capture hardware for better quality!

New video of Sound Profile is DONE! Taking a look at the original Roland Sound Canvas and its many features, and how it is from a musician's perspective! https://youtu.be/tF6B7TxpLuA
Also launched alongside it is the first album for the SC-55 in probably around 30 years, a collaborative project between me and some friends on a Desktop Music Discord server :) https://youtu.be/LtMciVcDme0
Musician & music gear/game reviewer. Worked on Planet X3, Necrolepsy, and some FPS mods.

My GM compliant MIDI modules: SC-55 (2.00 ROM), Korg NX5R, Triton Extreme, Trinity Plus, Fantom XR, Yamaha MU1000EX. PM me if you want any music recorded in 24-bit quality!

Capacitor replacement on my MT-32. Did it need it? No....but then the caps are just over 30 years old and it never hurts to replace them.

Been thinking of doing a follow-up video on dual screens and old IBM PCs (5150).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zugZGBPTSA

Any ideas what would be nice to cover ? Been thinking about doing a lightweight coding session on the 5150 to implement some dual screen magic :)

New computer history video: 1979 Texas Instruments TI 99/4A.

I spend a bit of time talking about the company behind it, the interesting features of the TI's 990 processor and the usual looks outside, inside and some games.

This one I shot with a Nikon camera, and I am not sure it turned out better than the ones I shot with my iPhone XS (that is mostly because of me).

I was fortunate enough to have picked up this AT&T Globalyst 590 PC witn an Intel Pentium 66Mhz.
It was in pretty rough shape when I got it, it lacked a PSU / power button and hard drive and I didn't know if it still worked but I really like the look and feel of this case.
So I added a PSU and a hard drive, installed windos 95 and it worked fine.
