Does anyone have the Aureal MIDI Patchset Editor or BlackJack? I'm not sure if they're the same program, because the archive.org links don't work.

Here is where I found the programs.

I'll admit, I don't know the first thing about making or editing soundbanks, but these programs were free so they could be worthwhile to obtain.

I didn't realize until now that the "Aureal MIDI Patchset Editor Update" from A3d Fans Site works.

I never tried it because I thought it needed the full setup package, which I can't download.

About 95% of the program works in a WinXP VM. I think some of the parts that don't work require a Vortex 1 sound card in a Win9x system.

You can convert Soundfonts to ARL. I don't have my Vortex 2 installed so I can't verify how accurate the conversion is.
