As I was doing some research on an old AST computer, I came across a site that may be of interest to folks with old DOS/Win3.1/OS/2 systems. This site belongs to a company that had a contract to provide support to AST customers after AST went out of business. This company no longer provides support for these customers, but they still keep their FTP file archive online and available to the public. In addition to AST specific files, there are many generic drivers for a variety of hardware manufacturers, so if you have been unable to find something, it might pay to check out this site. The total archive is about 430 MB, so a good FTP client (WS_FTP for example) can get you the whole archive in 12 hours or less. My average download speed was about 12 kbps. Here is the listing:
