Hi all!

Does anybody have experience with these or tape drive de-magnetizers in general ?
- I'm having a few old computers with datasettes and (built-in) tape drives..

Before buying such NOS stuff (does it still work after that long period of time ?),
I'd like to know if they are -or were- useful or cause any harm, even..

And if there are alternatives (de-magnetizer devices using active circuit etc).

Any thoughts welcome. 😀

Thanks in advance.

Clean the head with alcohol and q-tips and then run the de-magnetizer tape in it.

No idea if a really old NOS one will work but we did use them back in the day.
