Only the 42nd anniversary, I thought it was older than that. Maybe I'm thinking of the books instead of the radio show, not sure which came first. I still remember watching the TV series (yes, I saw the more recent film and kind of regretted it instantly).

I missed the radio broadcasts but I do remember the TV series, read the books in school, and played the game on my PC.

I think I only finally listened to the radio shows when I got on the internet.

I remember listening to these in the college parking lot, then hustling back to class, so I guess they were broadcast in Canada a couple of years later. It was a good way to start the 80s.
