Question for anyone who's done some dev work on Mac OS/X: I've found that going into the .app and editing Info.plist manually NEVER changes what is seen by the system. Even if I delete the program and re-install it with a pre-edited info.plist, it still shows up with the data from the first time I unpacked it. Even program icons refuse to update.

I'm guessing the OS caches these files rather aggressively and stores them forever. I'd like to flush a few cached versions so the OS will reflect the changes I've made by hand.

Anyone know where the cache is stored, or how to force the OS to update these ?
