Windows' file explorer still sucks even to this day with the windows 10 on large files moves via USB. Prompted me to do the transfer from the card pulled from mother's dying cellphone.

Do you have a recommended file manager that does goes faster and efficient and shows the option such as select all, etc instead of hidden?

Apparently 32-bit is dead and nobody likes P4s.

Maybe they'll have something better for 11 with new fangled windows with curved corners and signature menu in the bloody middle of your monitor at the bottom....

Do people even know about using hotkeys and/or command line instead of relying entirely on mouse?

I use Directory Opus on all my modern Windows machines. MC style dual panes, packed with handy features, and much better for large & concurrent copy operations.

Not free, but worth it for the time & effort it's saved me over the years. I just use the Lite version.

the one downside i remember when trying these on my work machine was they all feltn much slower in comparison which became a real pain in the workflow...

file manager for windows 3.1 ? no ok, i do remember there being version fo that for windows 95 for those who didnt like the 'new' explorer

nor did i for a while, but got used to it soon enough

that double commander look somehow modern and old school at once
