I'm setting up a computer for my son, and it's on a room without wired ethernet. So I was going to use a USB wifi dongle, but...
Realtek downloads site is a mess. It used to be slow and hard to navigate, but now it seems that many downloads are simply gone. I know that maybe Windows (or Microsoft updates site) have that driver, but I prefer the manufacturer driver. Also, maybe the drivers are contained in one of the published packages, but I'd have to download every package and look if it is included on the .inf file.
Anyone knows any method of reliabily getting drivers for realtek USB / cards? (There are many dubious sites with downloads, but I don't want to use them)
BTW, the two dongles have that IDs:
- 0bda:8172 (Realtek RTL8191SU)
- 0bda:8176 (Realtek RTL8188CUS)
Thanks.
