That is the ultimate problem I find with plastics. However, the amount of plastic that goes into a jewel case isn't much less than that that goes into a DVD case, so you can either kill trees AND use oil, or just use oil. In any case, plastics are the least of the oil consumptors. Step one is to get rid of the fucking SUVs and get more electric and hybrid cars.
