Anybody know of an ewaste or recycling place in the Boston/eastern Massachusetts area that lets individuals browse and buy or take computer items onsite?
I can't find anything.
Good News projects and similar that recycle equipment are a start, none of them officially allow anyone to up cycle and reuse equipment but so long as the hard drive is scrapped they may allow you to grab or they may keep equipment for you.
Some schools auction old equipment also
Makes sense; I understand it's more likely to be an informal situation.
There is a recycling day/swap meet coming up in my town but it says no computers for recycling and for the swap, no electronics older than 10 years...no fun at all.
