This is going to sound like an odd request, since I'm the guy who wrote the thing... but I'm looking for old copies of Galactic Warzone. By scouring various websites and search engines I've managed to find galwar76.zip, galwar75.zip, galwar73.zip, and galwar61.zip. That makes 6.1 the oldest in my posession.

My SYSOP.DOC file goes back as far as 4.0, but knowing me I probably started at 1.0.

Versions of Galactic Warzone older than 6.1 probably date to 1986-1988 or so. I would have been 13 years old when I wrote the first one. Unfortunately, this is before the rise of Shareware CD-ROM disks, so it's unlikely to find things that old on CDs. Most BBSes at the time would have probably deleted older versions as newer ones came out. Nevertheless, I did actually find that 6.1 so there might be other old copies lurking about.

I probably backed up sources from that era to tape (QIC and later DAT), but unfortunately nobody backed up my brain and I have no idea where my tapes are.

Anyone have a resource I haven't thought of?
