Supreme Commander
Crashes. Guessing this is why (from its own logs):
error: device does not support hardware based instancing
It supposedly should support pixel shader 2, but I'm not convinced.
Also fascinating, but not the reason for the crash (I tested in another resolution):
[3556] [dgVoodoo] ERROR: Direct3D9 (00815810): Validation of D3D9 swapchain presentation parameters failed. Reason: display mode "1920x1080, 85Hz" is required but not supported by output device: 0, DeviceType : D3DDEVTYPE_HAL
Now I do have a 1920x1080@85Hz available resolution, but dgVoodoo lists it as 84hz (probably because it's something like 84.99hz). If I run the game natively it will change refresh rate to 85hz just fine.
Condemned: Criminal Origins
Works, pretty unsurprisingly since it's the same engine as F.E.A.R and so shares both F.E.A.R's problems: glitching on characters immediately after loading and player held objects clipping into walls. Resolution forcing also works, but is unneeded (and undesirable) here.
The Sims 3
Seems to work now with _1 version, but some things are way overexposed and lightning looks really basic, even with options turned all the way up (tried with DXVK).
Not a game, but some nice, old tech demo also works:
HDRIBL:
Spore
Does not seem to launch at all. Attaching log.

Try dgVoodoo v2.54:
http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2_54.zip
11 1 111 11 1 1 1 1 1 11 1 1 111 1 111 1 1 1 1 111
Regardless which version i use i have input lags like hell and big black screens in Anno 1602
Keeping Aspect Ratio isnt working aswell.
Btw the game is for a very short time 4 free on Uplay right now.
Disciples III: Renaissance (demo)
Flickering mess because of incorrect lightning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VuNGQpe6uo
World in Conflict (demo)
Seems to work. Resolution forcing too, though the icon row in the middle bottom is the only thing that benefits from it (Everything else is properly scaled to resolution) and you get some minor text glitching.
Performance is a bit wonky, antialiasing creates some minor issues and you don't get any effects from the DX10 render. So dgVoodoo probably not the best way to play this game.
There's also this every time you start the game:

thank you very much 😀
Resident Evil 3/Biohazard 3 Sourcenext (2006) with the restoration patch
this port uses DX9 and it supports resolutions up to 1600x1200
-Texture filtering and Antialiasing doesn't work well, it has lines all over the scenarios.
-Wobbly and warping models, something that was fixed on this port, but dgvoodoo undoes it.
Starship Troopers

Shader detail medium/high:
Obviously something wrong here.
Stronghold 2 (demo)
Renders correctly in latest WIP. But pointless to play in dgVoodoo2 (unless you have a compatibility issue of course) as it supports high resolution natively and also has shader model 3 effects you'll miss out on.
The Westerner DX8 - Win 7/64 . WIP54 and 2.55.4
Black screen on game start. Suspicious debugview entries:
[3536] [dgVoodoo] ERROR: Direct3D8 (03A9CC68)::GetDeviceCaps: Device type D3DDEVTYPE_REF is not supported.
[3536] [dgVoodoo] ERROR: Direct3D8 (03A9CC68)::CheckDeviceType: Invalid device type (D3DDEVTYPE_REF) for emulated card type 1.
Medal of Honor Pacific Assault works only in windowed mode... (same issue with all scaling options)
Drakensang and Drakensang The River of Time work on low settings, apart from some minor glitches.
There's some sort of shadow ripple briefly running over the model in the character creation screen.
Sometimes the character portrait does not render correctly.
Drakensang crashes in window mode.
The River of Time only shows a pink screen during intro and cutscenes.
Both games fail to launch on medium and high settings with this error :
nD3D9Shader:failed to load fallback shader
shaders:obsolete_vs_2_0_ps_2_a!
Re-tested Still Life 2 (GOG.com) using dgVoodoo2 WIP54.1, and not only does it work without needed anti-aliasing set in-game, it also shows shadows as it should!
One odd thing is I was not able to force AA via dgVoodoo2, but I was able to use the NVIDIA Profile Inspector to use my GPU's "enhance AA" mode and do it through there.
EDIT: Also, resolution forcing works great - useful as the game has a fixed resolution.
Thief Gold with TFix 1.26a (New Dark D3D9) working fine on lastest WIP 😉
I tried to run Dark Souls Prepare to Die, but I ended with:
[10748] [dgVoodoo] ERROR: Direct3D9 (11C51358)::CreateDevice: Invalid device creation parameters.
