Hmm... I can't see any difference.
You mean shadows on the hand and the gun?
Plz check if video settings didn't changed between switching D3D9 implementations (I encountered such situations with FarCry).

The settings in menu are the same but I will retest

*There are literally NO SHADOWS (on the ground/objects) at all!
*Take a look to the textures of the terrain (switching between the 2 images @fullscreen), the hand, the gun, the foliage.....everything! Begin looking at the terrain and the gun and you'll realize that all the meshes are textured with low detail textures!

It depends on the distance from the camera! Compare the scene parts near the player!

A Vampyre Story
Same engine as Ghost Pirates, so same problem.

Command & Conquer3: Tiberium Wars
Requires shader model 2.x, though the game doesn't mention it (debug dll does). Wasn't expecting this to work.

Bad Day L.A. throws this error after the videos/logos.

It could be a good addition since it had fixed resolution of ... PCGaming says 1024x768 but i never got any better than 640x480. Without any graphical configuration and non working forced vsync.

The biggest disaster of the game was the game itself, but it is -a bit- fun.
