Jack Nicklaus 6: Golden Bear Challenge crashes with DDERR_INVALIDPARAMS

Whenever I start a game this error gets spammed and eventually it crashes.

This happens with either Fast, or Standard 3D set in the game's preferences.
The only difference between them is that with Standard the character is white with no textures. (which only happens with dgVoodoo2 enabled)

I used WIP43 with Debug layer.

I've tried this game with dgVoodoo and it revealed that, unfortunately, there are more problems than just failing to create some textures. :(
DDERR_INVALIDPARAMS is legit because the game feeds dgVoodoo with invalid data. However it all runs fine natively, so I guess a more serious problem in the deep.
Need to be investigated, I put the game on the list.
