I tried to use dgVoodoo to increase the frame rate of an old game made using Unreal Engine 2.5.... Voodoo loaded up, but every setting I used didn't seem to effect the framerate at all.

It's strange, when I first start the game up and enter it I receive FPS around 60-80. However, after about a minute of being idle (or playing) it drops to 40-45. Whenever I open any interfaces, it drops further to 30-35 or even 20-30 depending on the interface.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the subject? Someone suggested it could be the game has a frame lock, is there anyway to confirm this or find the lock so it can be adjusted using Olly?
