So this is my suggestion, I wanted to be able to anti-alias 2D elements like HUD and texts, when they have nearest neighbour scaling (pixelated), or even better, implementing more advanced scalers like xBRZ or something like that. So for people who want at the same time a sharper and smoother HUD have that option as well, because currently it's only possible to do either point or bilinear sampling when upscaling the HUD with dgVoodoo. Like for example when wanting to keep the HUD big at 4K and setting in-game resolution at something like 720p, the 2D elements appear bigger, but either appear very blurry or pixelated, that's why. Exactly like in this image:
