I've been using dgvoodoo to upscale 1080p to 4K so I can get larger UI elements (fonts, action icons, etc) when I play old games in 4K (otherwise these UI elements are just too small to see comfortably). However, when I set dgvoodoo to use 3840 x 2160 in its config panel, then set the game's config to use 1920 x 1080, it plays cutscenes that are badly cut off (see examples below). However, I am getting 4K with those nicely enlarged UI elements but just the cutscenes are cut-off (setting just the game's resolution in its config to 4K and leaving dgvoodoo unforced displays the cutscenes normally). Is there a setting or configuration to correct this? The game is Age of Pirates 2, btw.

Same cutscene with game's config resolution set to 1920 x 1080 and dgvoodoo resolution set to 3840 x 2160:
