I'm having issues with DOS 6.22 suddenly not responding to things like running edit or win from the main directory , I'm not sure what I've done ,

Maybe because I recently removed a mouse driver in windows 3.1?
Could that have messed some config files up?
Or could it be a hardware conflict?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

SET PATH=C:\DOS\;C:\WINDOWS\

have this in your autoexec.bat

Since I recently upgraded some hardware and installed some new drivers and its been giving me nothing but grief.

It turns out I had the autoexec.bat misconfigured while I was mucking about and that the set path line was wrong.

So you were right on the money.
