I have bought an original copy of Rogue Spear but its from the video store "Video Ezy" which was back in the day a rental so I dont know if its the American or UK version so far I have tried XP compatibility mode using 95 and 98 but all it does is load the splash screen then nothing, I also tried patching with the UK and American patch although the American patch said something about not being compatible or found, first one didnt work so I uninstalled RS and reinstalled RS and tried the other but they both get stuck after a CMD window opens as it looks like its waiting to run some command but if I close the CMD window the patch says it installed successfully, from memory I have SP3 using XP Pro. Does anyone know the DirectX Jun 2010 pack I tried that too as it was a library/pack of DirectX which could be used for later systems to help run older games that didnt work. Maybe my patches are bad version 205 I havnt tried RS on my 98 PC yet because my XP PC has more grunt.
