Just wanting to try this for an exercise as I already have the GOG/quakespasm version working on my Duo Core 2 setup.

My setup is this: PIII 850mhz 256MB ram
Geforce 2 Ultra 64MB
Voodoo 2 SLI
Win98SE

Now getting GLQuake working in DOS do I have to use the V2's or the Geforce or does it matter? Regarding the Glide
driver do I have to put a copy of it in the Quake directory to access the higher resolutions? I remember trying the shareware
version with just the Geforce card and couldn't get it to run above 640x480, even with putting in the settings via command line.

Keep in mind I'm not going to try and convert the GOG version like in Phil's video but plan on getting an original disk and going
from there. I'm not very "hip" on DOS so any tips would be welcome!

Ok, so GLquake is windows only learn something new everyday.

So can anyone help me with my concerns with setting the game up so I can play with resolutions other than 640x480?

Tried editing the shortcut ?
Like:
glquake.exe -width 1024 -height 768

Oh and you have a file called opengl32.dll in the quake directory.
Thats the 3DFX minidriver.
If you want to run glquake with another renderer (like geforce) just rename the file (i prefer opengl.3dfx =).
