Hi everybody. First post here. Does anybody knows what am I doing wrong? Trying to dual boot using xfdisk boot manager between Dos 6.22 and Win98. 1 Primary FAT 16 for DOS, 1 Primary Fat32 for win98 and 1 logical FAT 16 dor data. When I try to boot anything gives me the message of error because of bootsector. Thanks in advance!

Alright. XFDisk is doing it's job, then. Namely, it should flip the DOS partition to bootable, optionally cloak some of the other partitions on the drive, point to the DOS partition, load the partition boot sector, and execute. If the format of the partition is messed up, it can't do that. Can you see everything in that partition when you boot a DOS boot disk/USB drive/CD?

I think my problem is not finding the way to configure correctly the boot manager to do what I manually do hiding and unhiding partitions, but I don't find the place to do it. I will try with Plop wishing not to start the overall process of installing again the OSs and partitioning the HDD
