I've run it on my Pentium III - 800MHz with a Voodoo 3 and it's quite smooth. I had to apply the Voodoo3 patch.

Overclocked my CPU to 233 MHz and the game became 30+ fps playable with Far draw distance (not full) and everything else set to high so it has a strange CPU barrier at around 200MHz. Very strange.

Wait you are right. I had the issue the other day but it was fluid last night so I assumed the overclock had fixed it. However apparently it was something else entirely because the low framerate issue appears to have happened on 233 MHz as well. Ultimately I have no idea what it was.. or why it went away..
