Hi,
Is anyone familiar with this old EA title? It seems to have different versions, but I'm wondering if there's one that works best, as I've seen they have memory management issues that screws up the playing cartoon.

Yes, I am aware this is a two year old post. But,
to the op and anyone else who cares:
As far as I know there’s only one version of Cartooners for MS-DOS, namely v3.11. Some personal research indicates it requires at least DOS 2.0 and possibly a 80286 or newer CPU. The game freezes on startup when DOSBox is set to emulate being DOS 1.0 (Lookup the VER command) and disassembled code contains the LLDT and SLDT descriptor table management instructions that were introduced with the 80286. This table is related to memory management. Also be sure to have enough free memory. How much? Idk.
