Normal games with Securom PA use internet once to create a license. Then use the classic Securom disc check. As most protected games since late 1990s.

EA titles check serial number online each run and work w/o the game CD/DVD in a drive. But the game not starts if I offline.

Is there a official way to force the standard Securom disc check if my PC is offline? A "Securom 7.xx.xxxx" is still detected in executables...

P.S. Yes, I can replace EA versions of paul.dll/lang.ini to normal (from Alone in the Dark as the example) versions then play offline. But this is not a proper way, IMHO. I hope EA have the offline disc check for something like Red Alert 3... If not - *censored* EA! Bankrypt and close!
