What a useful utility this is.

I'm going through a pile of pre-owned 3.5 floppies, using Maxi Disk 4.2, and I don't appear to be able to register or buy it as the software is so old, indeed the last entry on the website is in 2002, and he was charging $2 to register it at the time.

I suspect it is likely now be freeware, although my copy has a 30 day trial, anyone know how I can register it under Windows 95?

You'll need to track down the author (or rights holder), I'm afraid. Unless they've released the software in a more permissive form, the copyrights won't be expiring anytime soon. You can try the registration methods on the Herne website. If that fails, try the published contact info or the contact info listed in the DNS record.
