Is anyone aware of a DOS-based menu app that will attempt to auto create menus? I'm thinking something which would parse my C:\GAMES dir and see /WOLF3D/WOLF3D.EXE and auto create a menu entry for it. Maybe even see /WOLF3D/SETUP.EXE and create a link for that. Y'know some kind of fancy DOS games frontend I'm not yet aware of.

I'm open to options that would run in Windows and auto create a menu cfg file or something I could just copy over to the DOS disk.

Direct Access.. it will work to a degree, some games you will have to create a manual entry.

I have no clue what I'm doing! If you want to watch me fumble through all my retro projects, you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrDavejustdave

Funny, I've used DA before and didn't remember that. I also want to look into GRLDOS since it's a bit fancier and see if there's a programmatic way to update it's config (assuming it's somewhat human readable/decipherable).
