Hello everyone.

I am looking for an alternative to XingMPEG where I don't have to use to take too much processor power to make MPEG videos 30-60 FPS. I am trying to find one that can run videos faster without the processor using the CPU internal memory. If you happen to find one please let me know.

Thank you.

Hello, I had a good experience with XingMPEG so far.
It even worked on a 486 with videos in the usual VCD/CD-i resolutions (352 x 288 pixels). May I ask what kind of computer you're using ?
If you like to play back videos in 640x480 or even higher, an MPEG decoder board might be a better solution..
