I know Netrunner but that's for XP. is there anything that runs on Windows 98?
It needs to have full ANSI support of course.

Heavily used and highly recommended: mTelnet

(I hope the latest version still runs on win98)

Microsoft Telnet (included with Windows) should also work.

Nope, sorry. For text is of course excellent, everyone has it etc. For BBS ansis though...

Thank you!!! I downloaded the beta version and it runs great in Win98SE!!

It's all a bit too fast though ;) I got used to the 9600 wifi modem.
