-If memtest86 work on floppy(my 486 not boot from a cd like hiren'2 boot CD utility), if yes how to download/create it. I need to check my 72 pin simm on my 486.

An old version of Norton Ghost would probably do the trick for you.

Go get the PLOP boot loader. It allows you to boot from cd on your 486.

Apparently 32-bit is dead and nobody likes P4s.
Of course, as always, I'm open to correction...😉

There are several high quality DOS programs for copying and imaging floppy disks, take your pick: https://www.bttr-software.de/freesoft/disk2.htm (All these applications were free from the beginning or were re-released as freeware when DOS gave way to WinNT-based systems.)

I remember using HD-Copy back in late 90s.

Edit: sorry, I didn't realise you wanted software for HDD imaging. Try Partition Saving (it's freeware as well): http://www.partition-saving.com/
