A decade or three ago I bought a wee Amstrad 286 setup. It had a smaller foot print than my current Zenith Z286LP Plus. Worst purchase I ever made wrt computer systems. I like small compact units, not those HUGE behemoths everybody brags about. Looked fine from the outside but almost everything on the thing was proprietary, including the fdd interface, so I scrapped it. I did manage to salvage some items from it though. The Amstrad Ablib clone sound card and it's Amstrad branded Counter Point menu software.

When the screen saver kicks in the screen goes black and the clock is displayed moving around the screen.
