Patches for old EA Sports games

Postby buckeye » 2019-9-11 @ 12:35

Particularly for NCAA Football 99, as the game crashes on my voodoo3 based rig. Can't find any old EA sports sites for legacy titles, anyone know of any links to try?

You can use the following EA Sports FTP mirror to get the appropriate FTP links:

http://www.ftpdir.hu/ftp.ea.com/pub/eas ... es/ncaa99/

Once you have the FTP link for a patch, you can use the Wayback Machine (archive.org) to recover at least some of the patches, i.e., just enter the FTP link in the Wayback Machine search

Adding a "v" to the end of the command-line was needed for 3dfx banshee to work. Maybe try that.

Example:
"C:\Games\NCAA Football 99\NCAA Football 99.exe" v

Or you can try the Direct3D patch:

Edit:

akula65 beat me too it but the above Direct3D patch is the same file as the patch from the EA FTP.
