Hi all,

So I have set up a FTP server on my Router(Fritzbox) using a large external USB3.0 HD for storage.

Making small file transfers from this to the old machine works very well using a FTP client(Filezilla) on the old machine (PIII, 128MB Ram, Win ME) however large files like compressed ISOs (around 500mb +) when attempted lock up the client machine within 30 seconds of the transfer start.

Anyone know what Is up with this and how to work around it ?

Nevermind, I tried CuteFTP 7 client side and that seems to work fine vs Filezilla which did not ?

CuteFTP does work but with no way to register old versions this is not a good long term solution so what do I do ?

Try an older version of Filezilla or another old FTP utility like WS_FTP?
