Title. Expecting it to be some sort of driver problem so I put it here in software. But yeah, Can't seem to get music out of it. Sound effects work great and I can use General Midi music but I want to get SB pro compatible music working.

System is

ABIT VH6-II
Pentium III Coppermine 1ghz
1024 MB RAM
PNY GeForce FX5200 PCI 256mb
ESS AudioDrive "Acer FX-16" ES1868
Windows 98 SE

Using the drivers that came with Windows 98 for it. Can't get music out of Duke Nukem or Whiplash using the SB Pro settings but sound effects work in both. Can use general midi to get music out of both but not SB pro music. Any ideas?

Early 90s: IBM PS/2 Server 95/A, Pentium 66, 16MB RAM, XGA-2, IBM SCSI Corvette, SCSI2SD, 3 Com EtherLink III MCA, Resound 2 AdLib MCA
Late 90s: Micron Millenia MXE, ABIT VH6-II, Coppermine 1ghz, 1024MB, Voodoo 5 5500 PCI, GUS Max 2.1, 128GB SATA PNY SSD

That won't work. You need VxD drivers if you want FM synth music in DOS games running under Win98 on that card.

Download the file 185xw95.zip from Phil's website and install the drivers manually through Device Manager.
