I would like to play GTA on my retro pc with msdos 6.22. Now I have the following problem that it only sees the CDROM when it sees in a d or e drive. Unfortunately I cannot get my cdrom player on d or e, because it has 4 partitions with the letters c, d, e and f. Does anyone know what I can do about this?

Unfortunately, this problem has not always been resolved. Now my question is how do you play GTA under MSDOS if you have multiple parties and your CD-ROM player therefore has a higher drive letter than E?

That's the neat part: You don't.

Possible workarounds: Crack it (and deal with not having the music), or use a boot loader/partition manager that can hide partitions so you can shift the CD dive letter into the valid range. Hard mode: If the game already checks multiple drive letters (many games were hardcoded to just one) maybe you can extend that check to look further back.
