MS-DOS 6.22, Pentium MMX 233, 40mb ram, S3 Trio64 video, Vibra16 sound

Anybody else have this issue and know how to solve it?

1.) MS-DOS 6.22, Pentium 233mhz, 32mb RAM, S3 Trio64, Sound Blaster Pro 2
2.) Windows 98SE with Unofficial SP3, AMD Athlon 1.3ghz, 768mb RAM, Geforce 4 MX 440 64mb AGP, Sound Blaster Live! Value

As I recall, the game has problems with that much RAM. You should be able to get around it by using a RAM disk (like XMSDISK) to consume an extra 8 MB of RAM, or you can try using HIMEMX.

ETA: I'm trying to find where exactly I read about that, and can't seem to find the reference.

Do you have EMM386 loaded in your config.sys? That might be sufficient.

I downgraded to a P90 and 16mb RAM, it works great now.

1.) MS-DOS 6.22, Pentium 233mhz, 32mb RAM, S3 Trio64, Sound Blaster Pro 2
2.) Windows 98SE with Unofficial SP3, AMD Athlon 1.3ghz, 768mb RAM, Geforce 4 MX 440 64mb AGP, Sound Blaster Live! Value

ACTUALLY, in case anyone else runs into this problem, I realized it was auto-detecting the wrong IRQ. Make sure you do it manually if you're not at 7.
