Has anyone actually gotten Alter Ego to run on an 8088 with CGA graphics? Hangs for me as soon as I launch the executable. Either one. I’ve only seen the one version floating around, I think the PC release may have been fairly rare. I couldn’t find a PC-specific manual, might I be missing something?

The original media doesn’t seem likely to work, it’s going to be copy protected 360k —- and I have 720k drives and no access to a 5 1/4 drive.

I checked gog.com, doesn’t look like
they sell it yet.

Just trying to figure out how I can actually play this game. I used to own an IBM PS/1 386, and I could never get it to run on that either.
