It was a futuristic competitive car racing game on a track, with Formula-I type cars, probably released around 1990. It may have had the word "track" in the name, but I don't recall. The cars had James Bond-style weapons like missiles and oil slicks and whatnot. That's about all I can remember. I had it for my PS/2 30-286, was EGA-only, and supported at least Adlib.
Deathtrack kinda fits the description, although it also supports CGA & Hercules and is not exactly Formula cars
MegaRace doesn't fit your timing/specs, but the game is similar to what you talked about. Just thought I'd mention it, just in case.
